{"id":118,"date":"2013-12-06T17:26:12","date_gmt":"2013-12-06T21:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lostmyhearing.com\/?p=118"},"modified":"2024-02-17T14:23:59","modified_gmt":"2024-02-17T18:23:59","slug":"new-adventures-in-deafland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lostmyhearing.com\/?p=118","title":{"rendered":"New Adventures in Deafland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I told you last time,\u00a0 Wonderful Audiologist is no longer available to me.\u00a0I heard she&#8217;s working somewhere new, but I don&#8217;t know where.\u00a0 There&#8217;s probably some kind of non-competition clause, but that doesn&#8217;t help me, right?\u00a0\u00a0I went through most of the summer worrying about what I&#8217;d do and then it happened.\u00a0 I had a problem with my hearing aids.\u00a0\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t like the guy that worked there with her and I wasn&#8217;t keen on her replacement.\u00a0 What to do?\u00a0 Where to go?\u00a0 Fortunately, she had told me the name of another audiologist in one of the company&#8217;s other offices, so when I got back to Toronto in September, Darling Hubby booked an appointment with\u00a0that audiologist and off we went on a new adventure in deafland.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It started out well. We were early and the receptionist was really nice.\u00a0 They have a very different set up in this office and it&#8217;s much more pleasant.\u00a0It&#8217;s smaller, but warmer, and brighter with all the windows.
